U.S.-Bahamas TIEA Goes Into Effect

On December 31, 2003, the U.S. Department of Treasury announced that the United States and The Bahamas have exchanged diplomatic notes that bring into force the tax information exchange agreement between the two countries that was signed in Washington, DC in 2002. The Agreement enters into force on December 31, 2003.
