Abstract:
Six transition governments - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, and Ukraine ? signed an anti-corruption agreement with the Organization for European Cooperation and Development on September 8, 2003. The agreement outlines specific actions for countries in order to increase the integrity and transparency of public services, and assess levels of corruption in the public and private sector. The OECD will monitor their progress in overcoming high levels of corruption.
