Abstract: 
On July 3, 2001, Marc Verwilghen, Belgian Minister of Justice, present the Belgian four key priorities with respect to justice and home affairs: 1. Cooperation in criminal cases will be strengthened by establishing a permanent EUROJUST. In this regard, pursuant to Conclusion 46 of the European Council in Tampere, the Belgian Presidency will do everything to ensure that the decision to establish EUROJUST is adopted in December 2001. 2. Combating the trafficking in human beings.
