Financial Action Task Force Issues 2005-2006 Annual Report

On June 23, 2006, the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) issued its 2005-2006 annual report. This year’s report focuses on a number of FATF initiatives, including efforts to expand FATF membership, strengthen private sector and international organization outreach, and coordinate actions with FATF-style regional bodies (FSRBs) and international organizations. The report also details FATF’s interpretive note to special recommendation VII, which covers non-profit organizations.
