Uruguay To Extradite Three Military Officials to Chile

On March 23, 2006, the Uruguayan Supreme Court authorized the extradition of three military officials to Chile in a historical step. The officials are believed to have been involved in the assassination of Chilean chemist Eugenio Berríos in the 1990s.
