Abstract:
There are times when events in the legal and political systems entwine. This interplay of systems is very apparent right now with the situation in Darfur, particularly since mid-July, when the Special Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) announced he was requesting an arrest warrant for President al-Bashir of Sudan.
