Abstract: 
On April 14, 2000, the Croatian Parliament passed a declaration, promising that Croatia will cooperate fully with the U.N. International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY). The declaration provides the tribunal jurisdiction over war crimes committed during and after the conflict in 1991-95 that ensued the breakup of the Yugoslav federation. The declaration pledges Croatia will provide the tribunal with all documents the tribunal might need as evidence in war crimes trials.
