Abstract:
On August 4, 2007, the Mexican media revealed that the Veracruz Customs Service Unit had seized machinery valued at more than 2 million Mexican pesos that was imported in March 2007 and destined for a Toluca laboratory owned by Zhenli Ye Gon. Meanwhile, the Mexican media detailed how an alert by the Veracruz Customs led to the search of Ye Gon’s house in Mexico City, where the Mexican law enforcement authorities found and confiscated more than U.S. $205 million.
