Abstract: 
On June 14, 2000, a grand jury indictment was filed in the U.S. District Court in San Jose, charging the Handa Lopez, Inc. (HLI) and two of its executives, David Brown of California and Raymond Clark of British Columbia, with criminal violations resulting from the operations of Internet gambling.
