Abstract:
On March 18, 2005, the U.S. Attorney obtained the conviction of three persons in Salt Lake City, Utah for conspiracy to defraud the IRS (18 § 371), two persons on charges of income tax evasion (26 § 7201), and one person for corruptly impeding the due administration of the internal revenue laws (26 § 7212(a)).
The persons convicted were Thomas E. Mower, Leslie D. Mower and James Thompson. The Mowers were convicted of tax evasion whereas Mr. Thompson was convicted of corruptly impeding the due administration of the internal revenue laws. U.S. District Judge Dale A.
