Abstract: 
On September 13, the United States and Nigeria signed a mutual legal assistance treaty.  According to the press release, the treaty provides for mutual assistance in taking testimony, providing evidence, serving documents, locating suspects, executing searches, seizing illegally obtained assets and transferring persons in custody for testimony.
