Abstract:

On November 22, 2006, the media reported that Ken Macdonald, Britain’s director of public prosecutions, and Alexander Zvyaginsev, Russia’s deputy prosecutor-general, signed a legal memorandum of understanding (MOU) to facilitate extradition.1  The MOU will enable prosecutors to cooperate directly with each other when they prepare extradition requests to ensure they are correctly prepared and include supporting evidence.2
