Abstract:
On January 16, 2016, a Portuguese appellate court ordered Sabrina De Sousa, a U.S. and Portuguese national, be sent to Italy where she was convicted in absentia for her role in the rendition of a terrorism suspect. Her original sentence is four years in prison in Italy.
