Abstract:
A contingent of Peruvian Congressmen travelled to Colombia last month to personally request the extradition of former Peruvian President Alan Garcia. The former President is accused of embezzling $ 400, 000 between 1978 and 1990. Garcia, who insists e is being persecuted for political reasons, was granted asylum by Colombian authorities last year.
