Peruvian authorities have released Carlos Wittgreen, a Panamanian business and Noriega collaborator, who is charged with murder in Panama. Interpol arrested Wittgreen on corruption charges in Lima on September 16, 1992. Through a resolution issued on September 23, 1992, the Second Superior Court ordered the preventive arrest of Wittgreen.
