Panama Committee of Independent Experts Issues Report on Improving Transparency

On November 18, 2016, the Committee of Independent Experts (hereafter the “Independent Committee”), established by Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela Rodríguez by Executive Decree No. 94 of April 29, 2016, issued recommendations and conclusions in response to its mandate to “analyze the service platform for the purpose of formulating recommendations that be incorporated as best practices, to achieve the transparency objectives required by the international community.”
