Abstract: 

On July 19, 2013, Panama released and flew to the U.S.Robert Seldon Lady, a former CIA operative detained at the request of Italian authorities over his conviction in the 2003 kidnapping of a Muslim cleric in Milan. He was detained the day after Italy and Interpol requested his arrest for his role in an extraordinary rendition of Osama Moutafa Hassan Nasure, also known as Abu Omar, in February 2003.[1]
