Abstract:
On April 10, 2003, Congress passed the Prosecutorial Remedies and Tools to End the Exploitation of Children Today (Protect) Act. One important section of the act addressed the problem of so-called “sex tourism:” American citizens and permanent residents traveling abroad in order to engage in sexual acts with minors. Already the law is yielding success.
