On July 24, 1989, the Department of Justice announced the recovery of more than $3.6 million from Swiss bank accounts of George C. Davis, a former Vice President of Frigitemp Corp., arising from Davis' involvemet in a bribery and fraud scheme to rig contract awards for work on ships built by General Dynamics Corporation.
