Abstract:

On March 19, the Brazilian government announced that it has concluded an agreement with France to combat gold and wood smuggling, drug trafficking between the two countries, and to prevent customs fraud. The agreement is an example of the type of specialized mutual assistance in criminal matters agreements designed to combat specific crimes.
