Abstract: 
On December 16, the European Parliament adopted a resolution, urging the 14 member states and applicant countries that have not yet done so to ratify the International Criminal Court (ICC) statute as soon as possible. They also urged the European Council and Commission as a priority of the EU’s foreign policy, to adopt the goal of re-entry into force of the ICC’s jurisdiction by December 21, 2000.
