Abstract: 
On February 11, 1994, during the plenary session, the European Parliament adopted a report, dated January 27, 1994, from the Committee on Civil Liberties and Internal Affairs on criminal activities in Europe, which called for strengthened European cooperation against organized crime. The motion for a resolution discusses the operation of organized criminal associations at an international level, ranging from actual criminal offenses to the direct or indirect control of economic activities, public works concessions, licenses, contracts, and considers.
