Abstract: 
On January 12, 2016, the European Court of Human Rights (Court) delivered a Chamber judgment in the case of Szabó and Vissy v. Hungary (application no. 37138/14). The Court held, unanimously, that there had been a violation of Article 8 (right to respect for private and family life, the home and correspondence) of the European Convention on Human Rights.
