Abstract:

On December 18, 2014, the Court of Justice of the European Union – Full Court (CJEU) delivered a significant and far-reaching opinion on the draft agreement on the accession of the European Union to the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (ECHR) and identifies problems with regard to its compatibility with EU law (Opinion 2/13).
