Ecuador Government Interrupts and Dismantles Two Drug Trafficking Groups

On April 4, 1993, the Ecuador Government announced success in interrupting and dismantling the assets of two of the largest drug-trafficking organizations that had been operating in Ecuador and whose assets recently were estimated to be worth $1 (U.S.) billion.
