Abstract: 

On October 3, 2012, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted Resolution 1900 (2012), “The definition of political prisoner”. Both the debate and resolution were based on the Report prepared by the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights[1].
