Abstract:

On March 9, 2012, the Standing Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights, acting on behalf of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted Resolution 1868 (2012) and Recommendation 1995 (2012) on the International Convention for the Protection of all Persons from Enforced Disappearances.[1] Both the debate and the two documents were based on the Report prepared by the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights.[2]
