Abstract: 
On August 8, at Tela, Honduras, five Central American Presidents from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua, signed an accord to implement the previous agreements on stopping the fighting in the region and, in doing so, agreed to settle the pending case in the International Court of Justice between Nicaragua and Honduras.
