Abstract:
As a result of a report by the Commission of Inquiry on War Criminals released on December 30, 1986, the Canadian Government has decided to undertake a new effort to cooperate in bringing to prosecution persons responsible for war crimes. The report is the result of an Order-in-Council of February 7, 1985. It contains a number of recommendations, some of which are already being implemented.
