Abstract:
On February 13, 2014, the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) announced that Bridgestone Corp, a company based in Tokyo, Japan, agreed to plead guilty and to pay a $425 million criminal fine for participating in a conspiracy to fix prices of automotive anti-vibration rubber parts installed in cars sold in the United States and elsewhere.[1]
