Abstract:
On June 11, 2000, Brazilian law enforcement authorities arrested Paraguayan General Lino César Oviedo in Foz do Iguaça, close to the Paraguayan border on extradition requests by Paraguay in connection with the March 1999 murder of Vice President Luis María Argaña.
