Abstract: 
On April 24, 2001, thirteen countries announced the initiation of a multilateral website (www.econsumer.gov), whereby individuals can provide and obtain law enforcement and consumer protection information. The website will allow consumers the opportunity to file complaints online. A parallel password-protected site will permit law enforcement and regulatory authorities to share complaint data and other information on investigations into e-commerce fraud.
