Justice Designates Springer as Counsel for International Tax Matters

Abstract: 
The Department of Justice announced on July 28, 1987, that James Springer, Tax Division Counsel, has been designated as senior counsel for international tax matters.  Mr. Springer will continue to represent the Tax Division in negotiating treaties and agreements for the exchange of information in civil and criminal tax cases as he has done for the last two years.
