Abstract: 
In what will be the most significant Administration of Justice project to date, the U.S.A.I.D. has proposed a $36 million project using counternarcotics economic assistance to support a six year comprehensive effort to reform the justice sector in Colombia.  Actual funding will be provided to the Government of Colombia incrementally over four years from FY 1991-94 and subject to interagency review of progress in judicial review.  The Government of Colombia will supply counterpart support equivalent to $10 million for a total project cost of $46 million.  The FY 1991 obligation will be $6.5 million.
