Abstract:
On March 24, 2017, UN Secretary-General submitted to the Security Council his report on the United Nations Mission in Colombia. The present report is submitted pursuant to Security Council resolution 2261 (2016), by which the Council established the United Nations Mission in Colombia and requested that the Secretary-General report to the Council on the implementation of the mandate of the Mission every 90 days after the start of monitoring and verification activities. The report covers the activities of the Mission and related developments from December 24, 2016 to March 24, 2017.
