Abstract:
Luxembourg and dealt with a variety of issues, including issues of the expanded European Union and the consequences of enlargement. The meeting dealt with a range of border and immigration issues. The meeting discussed the Commission communication on the development of a common policy on illegal immigration, smuggling and trafficking of human beings, external borders and the return of illegal residents.
