"On July 30, 2008, the House of Lords, Britain’s top court, upheld the extradition of Gary McKinnon, to the United States, where he is indicted for allegedly breaking into Pentagon and NASA computers.
McKinnon, 42, is alleged to have conducted a series of cyber attacks that stole passwords, attacked military networks and perpetrated hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of computer damage.
Prosecutors allege that McKinnon hacked into more than 90 computer systems belonging to the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Department of Defense and NASA between February 2001 and March 2002, causing $900,000 worth of damage...[more]"
